I point this out not merely to rebut the unfounded assertion that the Center is a nominal sham. I also mean to say that this interview was not a one-off phone call that John should have put on a suit and tie and best behavior for; it's routine. In this light, perhaps it's a bit more understandable that in the course of a 20-minute interview about the generational struggles of blue-collar workers and the relationship to today's white-collar bailout, he might have gotten a bit hot under the collar.
